Amsterdam Centrum is where most visitors stay, and where the city is at its most beautiful: the UNESCO-listed canal ring, the narrow streets of the Jordaan, and the busy squares around Dam, Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein. It’s also home to many of the city’s grand and boutique hotels, and to countless apartments in old canal houses.

Our girls visit hotels and private addresses throughout the centre. On the canal ring and in the Jordaan, parking is scarce and many buildings have steep, narrow stairs, so we plan arrival times with a little extra margin. Staying in a canal-house apartment? Send us the entrance instructions in advance so your companion can walk straight in.
An evening in the centre

Getting to you
Most bookings in the centre start within 30 to 60 minutes of confirmation, depending on who you’d like to meet and the time of day. At weekends, booking a few hours ahead gives you the widest choice.
